One of the oldest skydiving disciplines consisting of trying to land as close as possible to a 3 cm target.
The accuracy jumpers leave the plane at 1 000 meters and work on their approach so that in the final phase of the landing they are facing the wind, slightly above the target, restraining the canopy in order to control its movement very precisely. The target is an electronic device measuring up to 16 cm from its center.
Accuracy is practiced individually as well as in teams of five. The score of the team is the total distance of each individual jump.
